B.W. Cooper’s is a multi-generational family-operated tea importer and producer based in Boulder, Colorado. Their founder, Barry Wesley Cooper hails from Kenya’s tea fields and has traveled the world to curate meaningful partnerships that bring about the best cup of tea for all to enjoy. My team and I helped refresh the identity branding of this legacy tea company.
We began our work with a comprehensive audit, reviewing all brand marks, packaging strategies, and digital touch points — from website communications to their social media style. Post audit, we extensively researched the tea company’s industry competitors and strategized an approach to position B.W. Cooper’s as an established legacy brand and a top choice of tea lovers and wholesale partners.
By digging into the founder’s story of travel, unlikely friendships, and all the landscape, sips, and adventures along the way — we designed a refreshed playbook that expanded on the core DNA of the brand story and it’s connective four-generations of tea making history. This brand identity + style guide serves as the foundation for communication updates, website redesign, and social media strategies.
